Crochet Colorwork Volume 2 – Tessellation

Continue your crochet colorwork journey with 50 new chart card motifs that create all over patterns reminiscent of Scandinavian sweater designs.  Charts include diagonals, crosses, hearts, start, flowers and other geometric shapes.  These charts can be mixed and matched with Volume I cards to make your own unique colorwork masterpiece!  Instructions are included on how to work colorwork, how to read charts, 3 of the best stitches to use to work colorwork as well as other tips to make your projects even more beautiful. A code is also included to get 1 pattern free!

These samples are worked using waistcoat stitch, also called centered single crochet.

We recommend starting with the Coaster Pattern if you’ve never worked crochet colorwork before.  It’s super easy, allows you to repeat the entire chart, and can be worked using basic crochet stitches.  It teaches you how to read a chart, allows you to figure out how to hold two strands of yarn, and turns out super plush and squishy with plenty of room for a super sized mug to sit on.  The Coaster Pattern will be available on November 1, 2026.

If you’d done crochet colorwork already, try out our Beanie Pattern!  Made to work with both Volume I and II of the Crochet Colorwork series, it provides a tad bit more of a challenge but is still super easy and works up quickly.  The Beanie Pattern will be available on November 1, 2026.
